Was offered this extra battery when I ordered my Fujifilm FinePix J28 10.2MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom. I charged and put it in the accessory pocket of Case Logic DCB-16 Compact Camera Case. I have only had to alternate the battery once. Pleased so far!

Pretty unsure of the camera at this point! Seems to be excellent and I love Amazon although it seems if camera comes with dead battery there are no options to get it resolved accept dealing with manufacture directly. Simple solution is to get new battery but it looks like I have to return to Amazon or try to figure out how to get a huge manufacturer to send new battery.
So warning if you get camera get the better battery as option. I also could of swore it came with a 4 meg memory card but again no such thing! First camera I bought that has no memory card at all. I think the camera will be awesome just didn't realize I had to buy both battery and memory to make it functional.
Hopefully the rest of the people who get this camera are not having same issue!!

low cost batterty that works well, only problem I've had was above 10,000' on Mt. Rainier, at low temperature, battery lost power.
